Cities around the world must transition to improve livability and sustainability. But how can we ensure that these transitions do not reinforce or create new inequalities? There is a clear need to center justice in this transition.

While transition will occur in many sectors, we focus on the transition toward decarbonization and resilience through urban greening and explore potential connections between greening and decarbonization.

We use tools and methods developed by the French school of prospective to develop, together with stakeholders, different scenarios for just transitions in Brussels.

The project links actors in fields relevant to the just transition dialog and creates a space for discussion and collaboration.
